Almost two years have passed since I last flew on an airplane. But that’s all about to change. This week I’m going to Las Vegas. What? This seems completely out of character for me, and it is. Casinos and gambling hold no appeal. However, Morrissey at Caesar’s Palace does. I’m a huge fan of his and basically all ’80s British First Wave music. A friend who will meet me there secured a room at Paris Paris. She says it’s a great hotel and we will have a view of the Eiffel Tower. Well… not THE Eiffel Tower. That happens later this month – with a bit of luck.
I’ve visited France many times. Usually I stay a month or more because I feel so at home. Especially in Chartres. And most especially in the labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral. From the first time I saw it in an issue of National Geographic in the early ’70s as a child, I knew I had a deep connection to the ancient place.
The problem is travel restrictions to France are being discussed again. I may not know up until my departure date if I actually get to walk in my labyrinth this year. Of course, I would land in Paris and get to enjoy that amazing city. Its energy reverberates with the dreams of countless artists, musicians and writers.
Speaking of dreams, if you want to know why journaling – or at least trying to remember your dreams – is so important, check out my blog on the subject. We can eliminate our greatest fears and achieve our highest goals by decoding our dreams.
One of my goals this year was to create a YouTube channel reading tarot and teaching tarot. This week I did it! It’s quite new. Many more videos will follow but if you’ve ever wanted to learn tarot basics or if you would like to tune in weekly to pick a pile of cards that I will interpret, then subscribe and tune in. Plus, I tell you which dream symbols relate to each lovely pile of cards.
Wish me luck getting to Paris, Paris and Paris. I will share travel photos next time!
The best, always,
Victoria
